Brad Anthony Laina is a Seattle-based musician/ singer-songwriter, Grammy Award winning audio engineer, film composer, and multi-media producer. Best known as singer of alt-Americana band Vaudeville Etiquette, he's also written and produced music for feature films, television, commercials, and online media worldwide. 

 

Through his music and creative endeavors he has toured the US and Europe, worked at legendary recording studios including Skywalker Sound (Lucasfilm, Star Wars, Indiana Jones), audio engineered on Nando Reis' recording of  "Jardim Pomar" which won the 2017 Latin Grammy Award for Best Portuguese Rock Album, and has been featured in Starbucks stores and Spotify playlists. His notable media productions include a SIFF nominated music video, and a featured series on NBC's Late Night w/ Seth Meyers. Recently he's also composed music for award winning documentaries "Big Sonia", "Dirtbag: The Legend of Fred Beckey", and "Super Frenchie"

 

After honing his composing and production skills during a lucky chance apprenticeship with Hollywood composer Philip Giffin (Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure), Brad moved north for a Lead Composer position at a Seattle music production house where he scored several feature films and began writing songs to form the Alt-Americana band Vaudeville Etiquette.

The band went on to tour Europe and the US, garnering international attention, sync licensing of their songs, and millions of plays on Spotify and other digital platforms. 

 

In recent years he's directed several of the band's award nominated music videos, composed for award winning documentaries such as "Big Sonia",  "Dirtbag: The Legend of Fred Beckey", and "Super Frenchie" - and he now manages, produces records and media content as Head of Production at Strange Earth Studio in Seattle.
